Job Details:

We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester to join our team in Surat, India. The ideal candidate will have experience in functional and automation testing, as well as hands-on experience with TypeScript automation tools such as Playwright.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain in-sprint automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing.

- Align test scripts with acceptance criteria and user stories.

- Execute automated tests, log defects with detailed reproduction steps, and support defect triage.

- Create and manage test data and environment configurations for automation.

- Identify and maintain reusable scripts for system-level and regression testing.

- Contribute to the automation regression suite and maintain automation assets.

- Collaborate with developers and senior QA engineers to resolve issues efficiently.

- Follow automation best practices and participate in peer reviews.

- Prepare and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).

- Support manual testing efforts when required, including test planning, execution, and reporting.

- Track and report QA metrics such as defect rates, test coverage, and productivity.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 1-3 years of experience in functional and automation testing.

- Minimum 2 years of experience in Guidewire policy center projects.

- Hands-on experience with TypeScript automation tools such as Playwright, Taiko or JavaScript based frameworks such as Cypress/ Selenium.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

- Exposure to unit testing and mobile testing.

- Experience in improving test coverage and test strategy.

- Familiarity with performance testing tools & CI/CD tools should be good.
