Automation Tester Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled automation tester to join our team. As an automation tester, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test cases using ACCELQ (Cloud version) for web applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in ACCELQ Web (Cloud) for automation, solid knowledge of automation frameworks and test design principles, and good understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps CI/CD environments.

The successful candidate will also have experience in functional, regression, and integration testing, as well as knowledge of APIs and ability to automate using ACCELQ (nice to have). Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Git is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using ACCELQ (Cloud version) for web applications.
  • Execute automated and manual tests to ensure application quality across functional, regression, and integration levels.
  • Collaborate with developers, BAs, and product owners to understand requirements and create test scenarios.
  • Maintain test scripts, debug failures, and ensure high reusability and maintainability.
  • Integrate automation test suites with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
  • Provide test coverage reports, defect analysis, and root cause investigations.
Requirements:
  • Strong hands-on experience in ACCELQ Web (Cloud) for automation.
  • Solid knowledge of automation frameworks and test design principles.
  • Good understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps CI/CD environments.
  • Experience in functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Knowledge of APIs and ability to automate using ACCELQ (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Git.
Nice to Have:
  • Exposure to cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Experience in banking/insurance/financial domains (if relevant to your projects).
