Senior Audit Associate

Job Summary:

The role of an audit senior associate is to perform complex audit procedures, building technical competence and serving as the primary point of contact for clients.

This position involves working with our member firms and clients onshore, reporting to engagement teams, and coordinating timely communication. A successful audit senior associate should possess technical knowledge, audit methodology, and techniques to work on individual levels in audit engagements.

  • Possess sufficient technical knowledge to work independently on audit engagements, including coordinating workflow and tasks with clients/engagement teams.
  • Have significant knowledge of audit methodology and techniques in performing and assisting in external, internal, or statutory audits.
  • Take ownership of delivering high-quality audit work, develop self and others through engagement experiences, and execute larger areas of an audit engagement from planning to execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with audit clients and engagement teams.
  • Direct field work, inform engagement leaders of audit engagement status in a timely manner, and complete audit procedures and documentation for higher-risk areas.
  • Contribute ideas/opinions to the audit team, prepare draft financial statements under US GAAP, IFRS, UK GAAP (FRS 102), and ensure all work papers are complete and contain procedures performed, evidence obtained, and conclusions reached.
