Document Control and Data Governance Specialist

Job Description:

As a Document Control and Data Governance Specialist at Fluence, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and accessibility of our technical documentation. This entails maintaining and executing document release procedures, auditing document quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide translation services for various documents and labels. Your expertise in change management, data control, and compliance will be instrumental in upholding Fluence's commitment to safety, quality, and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and execute document release procedures for our business, ensuring adherence to process and standards.
  • Audit the quality and content of documents for compliance with documentation standards and policies.
  • Release product technical documents, such as drawings, certifications, datasheets, and manuals, in our system of record, Windchill PLM and SharePoint.
  • Send weekly notices to keep company personnel updated on new document releases and updated versions.
  • Maintain document classifications, retention timelines, and related policies.
  • Collaborate with teams to provide translation services for various documents and labels.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in document and change management.
  • Strong background in data control release, standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Expertise in change process procedure, organization, tracking, and implementation.
  • Familiarity with tools like Netsuite, Coupa, Windchill PLM, SharePoint, Confluence, and Office Suite.
  • Exposure to Battery Storage industry is preferred.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to engineering excellence.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional problem solving.
