Job Summary

Nisum is seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems using Java and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality software systems using Java and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and reuse.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure Nisum remains competitive.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6+ years of Java/J2EE development experience.
  • Design Experience: Minimum 4+ years of design experience with Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and Web Services Technologies (SOAP and/or REST).
  • Microservices: 4+ years of hands-on experience with building microservices using REST and SOAP/XML.
  • Database Technologies: 4+ years of hands-on experience with a variety of database technologies, including NoSQL databases (such as MongoDB, Cassandra), DML, DDL, and Query Optimization.
  • Systems Integration: 4+ years of experience with systems integration, including building event-based messaging and high-volume real-time data streaming using Kafka, RabbitMQ.
  • Software Development Lifecycle: Significant experience with the full software development lifecycle and software development methodologies (Agile, Iterative).
  • Analysis, Design, and Programming: Strong analysis, design, and programming skills.
  • Should also have Java8 & above.
  • Good with Spring boot, unit testing, Junit and Mockito.
  • Good with Database.
  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in specific technical fields like computer science, math, or statistics preferred; or equivalent practical experience.
