ATE Tester Job Description

This role involves testing electronic assemblies to ensure they meet required specifications and standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics, semiconductors, and experience with automated test equipment platforms such as Teradyne ETS800/ETS88/ETS364 or Advantest V93K/T2K.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough tests on electronic assemblies to identify defects or malfunctions.
  • Analyze test results to determine root causes of issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement testing strategies and procedures.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of testing activities, including test plans, test cases, and test results.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in ATE testing, preferably with one of the mentioned platforms.
  • Strong understanding of electronic circuits, semiconductor devices, and testing methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work in a team environment.
