Test Automation Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Test Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Quality Assurance department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the highest quality of our software products.

Your primary focus will be on creating and executing automated tests, identifying defects, and collaborating with developers to resolve issues efficiently. You will also contribute to the development of our automation regression suite and maintain automation assets.

To succeed in this role, you must have hands-on experience with type-script automation tools such as Playwright or JavaScript-based frameworks like Cypress/Selenium. Additionally, you should be proficient in programming languages and have experience working with Git repositories.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to work independently, handle test code issue resolution, updates, and debugging. You will also be exposed to QA lifecycle tools such as JIRA or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing.
  • Align test scripts with acceptance criteria and user stories.
  • Execute automated tests, log defects with detailed reproduction steps, and support defect triage.
  • Create and manage test data and environment configurations for automation.
  • Identify and maintain reusable scripts for system-level and regression testing.
  • Contribute to the automation regression suite and maintain automation assets.
  • Collaborate with developers and senior QA engineers to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Follow automation best practices and participate in peer reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in functional and automation testing.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in policy center projects.
  • Hands-on experience with type-script automation tools such as Playwright, Taiko or JavaScript-based frameworks like Cypress/Selenium.
  • Proficient in programming languages and experience working with Git repositories.
  • Independent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
