Key Data Solutions Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to spearhead the development and implementation of key data solutions. This individual will bring strong hands-on experience in designing, architecting, and implementing scalable data engineering solutions while driving innovation within the team.

Responsibilities:
  1. Design and Develop Key Data Architectures: Utilize AWS services for large-scale, complex data processing to drive business growth.
  2. Build and Maintain Data Pipelines: Leverage Spark (Scala) for structured and unstructured datasets to ensure high-quality, reliable data delivery.
  3. Architect and Operationalize Data Platforms: AWS preferred; Hortonworks, Cloudera, or MapR experience a plus.
  4. Implement and Manage AWS Services: EMR, Glue, Kinesis, DynamoDB, Athena, CloudFormation, API Gateway, and S3.
  5. Real-Time Streaming Solutions: Work on Kafka and AWS Kinesis-based projects to drive real-time insights.
  6. ML Model Operationalization: Deploy, schedule, and monitor ML models on AWS.
  7. Data Quality and Delivery: Analyze source system data and data flows to ensure high-quality, reliable data delivery.
  8. SQL Query Writing and Data Warehouse Initiatives: Write efficient SQL queries and support data warehouse initiatives using Apache NiFi, Airflow, and Kylo.
  9. Technical Leadership and Collaboration: Provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and strengthen the data engineering capability by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience in Big Data Technologies (AWS, Scala, Hadoop, and Spark)
  • Proven expertise in Spark with Scala
  • Hands-on experience with: AWS services (EMR, Glue, Lambda, S3, CloudFormation, API Gateway, Athena, Lake Formation)
