Job Title: Data Infrastructure Specialist
We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to lead our data infrastructure efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale databases to support our risk intelligence platform.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3-6 years of hands-on experience in database development, with a primary focus on relational databases and PL/SQL.
Key Responsibilities:- Designing and developing databases to meet business requirements
- Modifying databases according to changing needs and running performance tests
- Advanced query, performance tuning, and optimization of database systems
- Solving database usage issues and malfunctions
- Analyzing schemas and databases for design specifications and preparing test data and strategies
- Evaluating and engineering efficient backup-recovery processes
- Promoting uniformity of database-related programming effort by developing functions and procedures
- Remaining current with industry products and methodologies to determine alternative database management systems
- Liaising with developers to improve applications and establish best practices
- Ensuring the performance, security, and scalability of database systems
- Developing and optimizing PL/SQL queries for efficient data storage and retrieval
- Implementing, documenting, and maintaining data models for accuracy and alignment with business needs
- At least 3-6 years work experience as a Database developer
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, EC, IS, IT, or a related field
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL is mandatory
- Strong experience with PL/SQL, data modeling, and database optimization techniques
