Medical Coding Specialist

This is a challenging role that requires strong analytical and organizational skills to accurately assign medical codes for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience in radiology coding
  • MIPS Coding is Mandatory

In this position, you will review and analyze radiology reports, ensure coding compliance, and stay up-to-date with coding guidelines and regulatory changes. If you are detail-oriented and have excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes for radiology reports.
  2. Ensure compliance with ACR, CMS, and payer guidelines.
  3. Code various radiology modalities including X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and Radiation oncology.
  4. Collaborate with radiologists, billing staff, and auditors to resolve coding discrepancies.
  5. Meet productivity and accuracy benchmarks as established by the department.
  6. Participate in internal and external audits as needed.
