Job Title: Head of Accounts Payable Management

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead our accounts payable team and oversee the entire payment lifecycle. As Head of Accounts Payable Management, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments, vendor invoices, and expense reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor payables policies and procedures to ensure efficiency, compliance, and control.
  • Lead the accounts payable team, including hiring, training, goal setting, and ongoing development.
  • Review, validate, and approve invoices; ensure adherence to company policies, contractual terms, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage vendor relationships and resolve payment disputes or queries.
  • Maintain accurate records and reconciliations; oversee month-end and year-end closing processes for payables.
  • Optimize payables processes, automation, and risk prevention controls.
  • Prepare, analyze, and report on payables metrics: aging, cash flow, forecasts, and performance.
  • Coordinate with procurement, treasury, and accounting teams to ensure alignment and timely payments.
  • Support financial audits with documentation and process narratives.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA/MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of accounts payable experience with at least 3 years in a managerial/supervisory role.
  • Strong expertise in payables processes, team leadership, and compliance management.
  • Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and advanced MS Excel.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
