Job Title

Lead Principal Product Manager

Main Responsibilities and Tasks:

The Lead Principal Product Manager will play a key role in driving the strategic objectives of Amadeus Revenue Accounting.

Common Accountabilities:

  • Provides expert guidance and promotes innovation in Revenue Management and Revenue Accounting.
  • Has a broad understanding of the Airline and Travel industry, using it to improve efficiency and recommend solutions.
  • Works independently, based on management directions, and may coordinate functional teams or projects.

Specific Accountabilities:

  • Develops value propositions and key messages corresponding to problem statements.
  • Defines the product strategy, vision, and business value in line with business owners and stakeholders.
  • Analyzes solution offerings of competitors and defines the strategic positioning of the product.
  • Manages 3rd party partnerships, including requirement definition and prioritization.
  • Embarks Amadeus teams on product vision, shares product knowledge, and ensures mutual understanding of the business.
  • Drives co-innovation with customers to validate customer value drivers and define features of the products.
  • Defines and manages the product roadmap, socializing and aligning timelines with relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinates different functional and technical streams with R&D teams to ensure end-to-end solution consistency.
  • Manages the budget for the area of responsibility, including capacity planning with R&D.
  • Participates in Agile events, such as Lean Portfolio Management and PI planning, when applicable.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in Strategic thinking and product management practices.
  • Knowledge of the Airline and Travel domain, including market analysis and competitive analysis.
  • Ability to lead customer interaction and management.
