Front Desk Manager Lead

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for delivering exceptional customer service, while maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. As an Assistant Front Desk Manager, you will be responsible for leading and guiding your team to achieve excellence in guest satisfaction, revenue growth, and operational efficiency.

About the Role
This is a leadership position that requires a high level of autonomy, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for supervising staff, managing front desk operations, and ensuring seamless communication between departments. Your ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and delegate responsibilities effectively will be crucial in achieving our goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining Guest Services and Front Desk Goals:
  • Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work
  • Handles complaints, settles disputes, and resolves grievances or otherwise negotiates with others
  • Supervises staffing levels to ensure that guest service operational needs and financial objectives are met
  • Ensures regular on-going communication is happening with employees to create awareness of business objectives and communicate expectations, recognizes performance, and produces desired results
  • Supporting Management of Front Desk Team:
  • Utilizes interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others
  • Advocates sound financial business decision making, demonstrates honesty, integrity, leads by example
  • Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members
  • Serves as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviors
  • Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service:
Provides services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention Improves service by communicating and assisting individuals to understand guest needs, providing guidance, feedback, and individual coaching when needed Responds to and handles guest problems and complaints Empowers employees to provide excellent customer service
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • 2 years experience in the guest services, front desk, or related professional area, OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
  • Able to multitask, prioritize tasks, and delegate responsibilities effectively
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve excellence
  • Proven track record of increasing revenue, improving guest satisfaction, and driving operational efficiency
