MEP Project Engineer

Job Description

This role involves designing and planning MEP systems for high-rise buildings, residential complexes, and townships. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing HVAC systems, plumbing systems, and other mechanical components to integrate with overall building designs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and Planning: Develop and implement plans for MEP systems, ensuring seamless integration with overall building designs.
  • Mechanical Systems: Design and develop HVAC systems, plumbing systems, and other mechanical components.
  • Collaboration and Planning: Work closely with architects, construction managers, and engineering disciplines to ensure effective collaboration and planning.
  • System Management and Compliance: Select, install, and maintain equipment and components for all MEP systems, while evaluating and implementing safety measures, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Sustainability and Efficiency: Optimize MEP systems for energy efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and minimal environmental impact.
  • Documentation and Problem-Solving: Prepare detailed drawings, technical specifications, and cost estimates for all MEP scope of work, while identifying and resolving issues related to MEP systems during design, installation, or operational phases.

  • Deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Project management skills to manage timelines and resources.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Aptitude for critical thinking and resolving complex technical challenges.
  • Precision in reviewing designs and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
