Responsibilities

  • Utilize Mainframe test automation tools to automate test processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the development team to understand application requirements and design effective test scenarios.
  • Perform end-to-end testing of mainframe applications, including batch processing, using JCL and DB2.
  • Identify, report, and track defects, working closely with the development team to resolve issues.
  • Conduct performance testing to validate the application's performance under different workloads.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide valuable feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and robust mainframe solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest mainframe testing tools and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Mainframe test automation experience with JCL, DB2, and Financial Domain experience.
  • Previous experience working in the financial domain is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with batch processing and data management in mainframe environments.
