Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of commercial ICI construction projects from pre-construction to closeout, ensuring timely delivery and quality results.

  • Develop project work plans, schedules, and milestones; provide regular updates to stakeholders on progress and any deviations from the plan.

  • Oversee site supervisors to monitor on-site progress and address any field issues promptly, minimizing delays and costs.

  • Maintain accurate project documentation using construction management software, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Handle all project administration tasks, including submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, change orders, site instructions, deficiency reports, and closeout packages, in accordance with company policies and procedures.

  • Prepare cost estimates, bid packages, and tender submissions for ICI projects, considering various factors such as material costs, labor rates, and project timelines.

  • Issue and manage purchase orders for subcontractors and suppliers, tracking payments and invoices to ensure smooth project cash flow.

  • Track subcontractor invoices and prepare project billing and progress claims, maintaining transparent communication with clients and stakeholders.

  • Maintain strict budget control and identify cost-effective solutions throughout the project lifecycle, optimizing resources and minimizing waste.

  • Represent the company at project meetings with clients, consultants, and stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and resolving conflicts efficiently.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors through proactive communication, ensuring seamless collaboration and successful project outcomes.

  • Address project challenges and conflicts promptly to avoid delays, adopting a proactive approach to issue resolution and risk management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

  • Proven experience in construction operations management, with a focus on ICI projects.

  • Strong knowledge of construction management principles, practices, and industry standards.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.

  • Proficient in construction management software, including project scheduling, budgeting, and document management tools.

  • Certifications in construction management, such as CM, CCM, or PMP, are highly desirable.
