We are seeking a highly motivated PhD researcher to join our Indo-Australian joint PhD program at a premier educational institution in Hyderabad. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of renowned Professors Abhishek Sarkar and Vasan Arunachalam.
Project OverviewThe project involves designing a modular climbing mechanism that can adapt to varying diameters, integrate advanced actuation, intelligent control algorithms, and multi-modal sensing for defect detection and navigation. A communication and monitoring interface will enable real-time visualization and data storage.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop a modular climbing mechanism with adaptability features
- Integrate advanced actuators and sophisticated control systems
- Develop multi-sensory capabilities for detecting defects and navigating complex environments
- Implement a real-time communication and monitoring system for data visualization and storage
- Bachelor/Master's degree in Mechanical/Robotics/ Mechatronics Engineering or relevant fields
- Working knowledge and hands-on experience in prototyping, robotics/mechatronics, embedded systems, and machine learning
