We are looking for a talented Mechanical Engineer to execute VAVE projects.

Job Description
  • We seek a highly motivated professional to lead the ideation, design, development, and technical analysis of low to moderate scope and complexity projects.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to multiple projects involving single components or subsystems related to VAVE projects.
  • Develop working knowledge of product family in assigned area with awareness of system design.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver projects to launch.
  • Keep up to date and work with Engineering team to implement the latest market technologies and industry standards.

 

Requirements
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from a reputable institution.
  • Minimum 3-8 years of experience in working on mechanical product development involving plastic, sheet metal, and diecast components.
  • Desired to have basic understanding of all phases of product development processes - initiation, requirements management, concepting, detailed design, verification & validation, handing over for production with accountability of deliverables across phases.
  • Able to collaborate and work within a team environment.
  • Proficient with 3D CAD software (preferably CREO) and Windchill.
  • Strong analytical, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Engineering Fundamentals, DFMEA, ECN, GD&T, drawing for production, tolerance analysis, Engineering Calculations, and other product development associated techniques and tools.
  • Good knowledge of different Manufacturing processes – Sheetmetal, Die cast, Injection molding, Machining, etc.
  • Good knowledge of Materials and Material selection approach.
  • Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is a bonus.
