Shopify Front End Developer Position

We are seeking an exceptional technical professional to lead our Shopify e-commerce platform's client-side development.

This role is ideal for a skilled developer with experience in Shopify and JavaScript who can collaborate effectively with our team to deliver high-quality solutions.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Advanced knowledge of DOM manipulation and asynchronous JavaScript
  • Expertise in complex CSS and responsive design
  • Familiarity with the Liquid framework and meta fields

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Developing and customizing Shopify themes using advanced techniques, including DOM manipulation, asynchronous JavaScript, complex CSS, liquid, and meta fields.
  2. Ensuring that UI/UX designs are technically feasible and optimized for speed and scalability.
  3. Creating reusable code libraries for future projects.
  4. Collaborating with our development team to meet project deadlines.
  5. Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies, and applying them to our development efforts.

Requirements:

  • Strong Shopify experience
  • Excellent knowledge of Git
  • Liquid framework expertise (a must)
  • Asynchronous JavaScript skills and experience
  • graphQL and React js knowledge

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Superb communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with Git and Github.

Skills:

  • Expert knowledge of Shopify, including Liquid syntax, Shopify Objects, customizer, meta fields, and the Shopify admin panel.
  • Experience working with JavaScript and related libraries, such as jQuery and Vue.js.
  • Knowledge of DOM manipulation and advanced CSS selectors.
