Senior Open Pit Mine Geotechnical Specialist

Our team is seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead, supervise, and manage geotechnical activities for a large-scale open pit mine operation. The incumbent will be responsible for geotechnical studies, pre-feasibility and feasibility reports, stability analysis, simulation modeling, and implementing schemes derived from these models.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective geotechnical strategies to ensure safe and efficient mine operations.
- Lead and manage a team of geotechnical engineers and specialists to achieve project goals.
- Analyze complex geological settings and provide recommendations for slope stabilization and monitoring.
- Masters degree in Geological Science, Geology, Applied Geology, Engineering Geology, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience as a geotechnical engineer in open cast mining.
This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
