Job Title: Backend Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated software engineer to develop clean, maintainable, and efficient code in PHP. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of server-side scripting using PHP, along with experience in web development frameworks and database integration.

The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and managing backend components and services, integrating user-facing elements with server-side logic, and optimizing application for maximum speed and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Clean Code: Write high-quality, well-structured, and efficient PHP code that meets industry standards
  • Manage Backend Components: Develop, manage, and maintain backend components and services
  • Integrate Frontend and Backend: Seamlessly integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
  • Troubleshoot and Maintain: Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software
  • Optimize Application: Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2–3 years of experience in software development, preferably with PHP
  • OOP and MVC Knowledge: Strong knowledge of OOP concepts and MVC frameworks (e.g., Laravel, CodeIgniter)
  • Frontend Technologies: Proficiency in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX
  • Database Experience: Experience with MySQL or similar relational databases
  • API Integration: Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
  • Version Control: Version control experience (e.g., Git)
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
