Job Description :Key Responsibilities :- Lead and manage a team of developers working on Laravel-based web applications and WordPress websites.- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance PHP applications.- Develop custom plugins, themes, and modules for WordPress and Laravel-based projects.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, QA, and product owners to deliver robust solutions.- Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure adherence to best practices.- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues.- Mentor junior developers, provide technical guidance, and promote knowledge sharing within the team.- Participate in requirement analysis, solution design, and project planning activities.- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends related to PHP, Laravel, and WordPress.- Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining high code quality.Required Skills & Qualifications :- 3- 6 years of hands-on experience in PHP development with strong expertise in Laravel and WordPress.- Proven experience leading or mentoring development teams.- Deep understanding of MVC architecture, RESTful APIs, and web services integration.- Proficient in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.- Experience developing custom WordPress plugins and themes.- Strong knowledge of MySQL/MariaDB or other relational databases.- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.- Experience with deployment and CI/CD pipelines.- Good understanding of web security standards and best practices.- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred Qualifications :- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.- Familiarity with Docker and containerization technologies.- Knowledge of other PHP frameworks like Symfony or CodeIgniter is a plus.- Exposure to front-end frameworks like Vue.js or React is advantageous.- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments (ref:hirist.tech)
