Insurance Verification Specialist

The Insurance Verification Specialist will verify insurance eligibility, track payments, and ensure accuracy in accounts receivable.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Verifying insurance coverage details, including plan effective dates, frequency limitations, waiting periods, annual maximums, deductibles, co-pays, and non-covered services.
  2. Documenting verified information accurately and timely in our dental management system.
  3. Communicating benefit details to front office or treatment coordinators to support accurate treatment planning and financial estimates.
  4. Maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times.
  5. Meeting or exceeding daily productivity goals and accuracy standards.

You'll thrive in this role if you have:

  • At least 2 years of experience in insurance verification.
  • Familiarity with dental management software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and numbers.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
