Technical SAP EWM Consultant Job Description

The role of a Technical SAP EWM consultant involves implementing and optimizing the warehouse management system to enhance operational efficiency.

This position requires strong technical expertise in SAP ABAP, with a minimum of 5-8 years of experience. At least 3+ years of experience in SAP EWM is necessary for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand the EWM process flow and implement it effectively in various business scenarios.
  • Develop and maintain Object Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP) programs that meet business requirements.
  • Implement Interface Development using RFC/ALE/IDoc/Web Services to integrate systems.
  • Design and develop enhancements to existing SAP EWM functionality using ABAP.
  • Optimize Warehouse Monitor and EWM BADI to improve system performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Expertise in SAP ABAP and OO ABAP programming.
  • Understanding of EWM Process Flow and its implementation.
  • Experience in developing interfaces using RFC/ALE/IDoc/Web Services.
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Monitor and EWM BADI.
  • Good understanding of SMARTFORMS and Adobe Forms.
  • Nice-to-have experience in SAP Netweaver Gateway, Odata services, and REST Technology.
