Job Description:
The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical skills, a strong understanding of product perspectives, and a passion for ensuring high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough testing of our products.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing to identify and report defects.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and ensure that the testing covers all critical aspects.
- Analyse test results, identify issues, and provide clear and concise feedback to the development team.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of test results and defects using test management tools.
- Foster process-oriented testing while maintaining agility and speed in test execution.
- Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality.
- Debug and understand failure on automation code.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in manual testing, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think from both a user and product perspective.
- Experience in creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Excellent understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with various testing tools and techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality products in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
