We are seeking a seasoned Supply Chain Expert to oversee our procurement initiatives for raw materials and packaging.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a robust vendor base aligned with quality, cost, and service expectations.
  • Craft procurement strategies that ensure uninterrupted supply at the best value while mitigating risks.
  • Collaborate with R&D and NPD teams for timely vendor onboarding of new materials and innovations.
  • Negotiate contracts and drive cost-saving initiatives across the procurement portfolio.
  • Establish procurement KPIs (OTIF, cost, lead time, inventory health) and conduct regular reviews with stakeholders.
  • Implement best practices in vendor evaluation, material planning, and purchase order processes.
  • Monitor market trends for key raw materials and packaging inputs to forecast price movements.
  • Maintain compliance with food safety, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead digitization and streamlining of procurement processes via ERP and relevant tools.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or Supply Chain, or related field. An MBA is beneficial.
  • 6–8 years of relevant experience in RM/PM Procurement, preferably in Food, FMCG, or Manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier management skills.
  • Ability to lead procurement projects and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/NetSuite).
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; knowledge of procurement software tools is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of RM/PM specifications, quality norms, and food safety regulations.
