Project Coordinator

Job Summary:

A highly motivated Project Coordinator with a strong technical foundation will support the planning, coordination, and execution of projects. This role is ideal for candidates who have excellent organizational skills and ambition to grow into a senior project management role.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Execution: Assist in planning and executing projects, ensuring timely delivery and meeting client expectations.
  • Track project deliverables, timelines, and dependencies using standard project management tools (MS Project, Jira, or equivalent).
  • Support project activities, such as status updates, risk management, and issue resolution.
  • Technical Collaboration: Work closely with technical teams to ensure tasks are delivered in line with design and standards.
  • Review project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Provide L1/L2 technical assistance where required, leveraging technical knowledge and expertise.
  • Governance & Reporting: Maintain project logs, including RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs.
  • Prepare project status reports, dashboards, and client presentations.
  • Ensure adherence to ITIL and Change Management processes during deployments.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between clients, vendors, and internal technical teams.
  • Participate in project calls, documenting minutes of meetings and tracking follow-ups.
  • Escalate risks/issues promptly to the Project Manager.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Certification: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) is mandatory.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in project coordination or a related field.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Basic understanding of LAN/WAN, VLANs, routing protocols, and switch configurations.
    • Familiarity with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.).
  • Project Management:
    • Exposure to project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).
    • Familiarity with tools like MS Project, Jira, or Trello.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, time management, analytical thinking, and stakeholder engagement skills.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • ITIL Foundation certification.
  • Hands-on experience assisting in project planning and execution.
  • Experience working in multi-vendor/global environments.
