Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional High-Performance Engineering Specialist to join our globally distributed Performance Engineering team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-performance testing and engineering strategies for mission-critical systems within Sabre Hospitality Solutions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive performance testing strategies for large-scale systems, leveraging expertise in software performance engineering and analysis.
  • Analyze system behavior under load and stress, identifying bottlenecks and areas for optimization.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure the scalability and reliability of complex systems.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of distributed software systems, complex architectures, and various integration and messaging patterns.
  • Utilize strong programming, scripting, testing, and debugging skills to identify and resolve performance issues.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, applying knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the team.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to junior team members.
  • Communicate complex technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in software performance engineering, with a proven track record of delivering high-performing systems.
  • Demonstrated expertise in software development, with a strong understanding of back-end technologies and microservices architecture.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify resource constraints and optimize system performance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on root cause analysis and resolution.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment, with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems, Windows Services, and SOAP/XML Web Services.
  • Experience with performance monitoring tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Visual Studio, CloudTest, SoapUI/LoadUI, and Splunk.
  • Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (Cassandra, MongoDB).
  • Strong English communication skills, with excellent written and verbal abilities.
