We are seeking a skilled Contract Technician to join our team. As a Contract Technician, you will be responsible for reviewing the scope of work and other issues with district managers and engineers to ensure clarity of work and contracting requirements.

  • You will review technical sections of contracts to ensure provisions are clear and consistent with specifications. This includes recommending modifications to contract language to protect the district's interests.

  • This role involves performing activities associated with the formation and annexation of improvement districts. You will coordinate completion of procedural steps and requirements with property owners, local agencies, and other interested parties.

  • The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills and be able to monitor and analyze electrical systems.

  • Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with architects and engineers to determine the best placement of electrical wiring.

  • Attention to detail is essential in testing devices for improvement, safety, and quality control.

  • Upgrading older electrical systems to incorporate changes, cost reductions, improvements, safety, and quality control measures will also be a key responsibility.

  • Repairing broken equipment and wiring will be an important aspect of this role.

  • You will also review architectural plans to ensure they meet the required standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze contracts to ensure compliance with district regulations.

  • Coordinate with stakeholders to complete project requirements.

  • Analyze electrical systems to identify areas for improvement.

  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop effective solutions.

  • Test devices to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.

  • Update electrical systems to reflect changes and improvements.

  • Repair equipment and wiring as needed.

  • Review architectural plans to ensure compliance with district regulations.
