Service Operations Manager - SMT

A senior professional is required to oversee service operations for SMT equipment with a strong focus on Fuji systems.

  • Lead the service team responsible for installing, commissioning, and supporting Fuji SMT lines at customer sites with minimal downtime.
  • Supervise and mentor field service engineers, providing guidance on technical matters, performance management, and ensuring they are equipped to handle complex issues.
  • Act as a technical escalation point for intricate service and maintenance problems, maintaining close communication with Fuji Japan for updates and resolutions.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and conduct regular audits to guarantee optimal machine performance.
  • Maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams (Sales, Engineering) for seamless customer support.
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives in service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide training to internal teams and customers on SMT technologies and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electronics / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering.
  • At least 12 years of experience in SMT industry, with hands-on experience with Fuji SMT machines.
  • In-depth knowledge of Fuji platforms: NXTR, NXT series, feeders, placement heads, and vision systems.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in hardware and software aspects of SMT machines.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as required (domestic and international).
  • Familiarity with IPC standards and SMT process optimization is beneficial.
  • Experience with other SMT brands is advantageous.
