**Job Summary**



We are seeking a highly skilled Red Hat OpenShift Engineer to support our cloud-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with designing, deploying, and managing Red Hat OpenShift clusters on AWS.



**Key Responsibilities:**




  • Implementation: Design, deploy, and manage Red Hat OpenShift clusters on AWS, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance of the OpenShift environment.
  • Configuration and Management: Configure and manage OpenShift components, including nodes, pods, and routes, to optimize application performance and resource utilization. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines within OpenShift to streamline the application deployment process.
  • Collaboration and Documentation: Work closely with development teams to understand application requirements and provide necessary support for CI/CD pipeline development. Document configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
  • Performance Tuning and Optimization: Monitor cluster performance and resource usage, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OpenShift clusters, including networking, storage, and application-related problems.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices for OpenShift clusters, including role-based access control (RBAC), network policies, and data encryption. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements for data protection and security.


**Qualifications:**




  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing Red Hat OpenShift clusters on AWS.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services, including RDS, S3, IAM, and others.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
  • In-depth understanding of containerization technologies, Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with experience in diagnosing and resolving issues in a cloud environment.
