Senior QA Lead

The Role: We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior QA Lead to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall quality of applications, data, and development processes.

This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who can develop and implement a comprehensive QA strategy that aligns with business and engineering goals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all system data and applications features meet the highest quality standards.

You will lead a team of QA Engineers and matrix manage them to build test cases and automate QA workflows. Your strong understanding of QA methodologies and use of automated testing software will enable you to champion Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices in our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and implement the QA strategy aligned with business and engineering goals.
  • Establish Quality Standards: Develop KPIs and metrics to measure and improve product quality.
  • Process & Methodology: Develop and maintain robust QA processes including test planning, execution, automation, and reporting.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Operations to ensure quality is embedded throughout the SDLC.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate quality risks early in the development process.

We are looking for someone with 10+ years of QA experience and a strong understanding of QA manual and automation processes and software testing lifecycle. You should also have excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience testing business solutions delivered on SaaS models.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate Degree: e.g., Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong Knowledge: QA methodologies and use of automated testing software (Agile/Scrum/SAFe, Playwright, Cucumber, TestRails, Selenium).
  • Good Understanding: Web-based technology architecture and data structure.
  • Strong Database Skills: SQL.
