Job Description: Software Architect Position

This role involves helping architect mission-critical software to be reliable and scalable. As an architect with the content team, you will build solutions that give TripStack insight into our data and monitor our performance. You will invent novel ways of collecting, analyzing, and enabling the discovery of supplier data from various real-time sources. Your task will also involve innovating and influencing the direction of the latest TripStack technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Directing and guiding the team in implementing robust development practices that foster exceptional quality software code.
  • Engaging in collaborative endeavors with the team to formulate innovative solutions and designs addressing intricate problems with finesse and precision.
  • Advocating for clean coding principles and sound decision-making within the team, cultivating an environment of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Working closely with existing architects to provide strategic recommendations for optimizing the product architecture of the Content Team.
  • Enhancing team performance by creating a well-structured training program introducing and familiarizing team members with new tools and technologies.
  • Assuming responsibility and ownership of the team's technical roadmap, steering its priorities with vision and purpose.

A successful candidate will thrive in fast-paced environments leveraging agile planning techniques, encouraging creative design, and intelligent risk-taking. They should find innovative ways to leverage cutting-edge technology. Experience with travel, especially in flights, is preferred. However, this is not mandatory.

Requirements:

  • 8 to 10 years of experience in software development using C#, .Net Core, Javascript, and Typescript.
  • Strong experience in developing and integrating Rest APIs, XML, JSON, SOAP.
  • Architectural and system design skills.
  • Strong experience in Principles of good software design.
  • Experience in Concurrent Programming, Threads, time slicing, thread safety, critical sections, async/await pattern, Queues & Topics, Streaming.
  • Experience in Performance enhancement, Big-O notation, Scaling, Microservices, ESB, Sharding, Hexagonal Architecture.
  • Strong data storage experience with databases such as Postgres, Oracle, mysql, Active Record Pattern / ORM frameworks.
  • Experience in scaling software for performance and growth, GCP/AWS.
  • Experience in Agile development.
  • Proven experience in solving complex architecture and business problems with solutions that are extensible, simple, and optimal.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year.
