Lead Security Engineer for Enterprise Java Product

We are seeking a seasoned Lead Security Engineer to spearhead the security and cloud engineering efforts for our cutting-edge enterprise Java product with both on-premises and SaaS deployments.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee application and infrastructure security strategies.
  • Develop and implement secure coding practices, integrating Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning into the development lifecycle.
  • Conduct threat modeling and risk mitigation to ensure the highest level of security.
  • Assess and address potential security risks, including SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), cross-site request forgery (CSRF), and privilege escalation.
  • Drive cloud and container security initiatives, hardening Docker, Kubernetes, and SaaS infrastructure for multi-tenant, secure-by-design deployments.
  • Automate security checks in CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, and SonarQube.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in application security, DevSecOps, or cloud security within enterprise Java environments.
  • Strong expertise in penetration testing, static/dynamic analysis, and tools such as SpotBugs, Polaris, Acunetix, OWASP ZAP, etc.
  • Proven track record in secure coding, vulnerability assessment, and remediating common issues like SQL injection, XSS, and insecure deserialization.
  • Familiarity with SaaS security concerns, including multi-tenancy, access isolation, data encryption, and secure APIs.
