Job Title:

Sr. Test Automation Engineer - C#

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced test automation engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for translating test cases into automation scripts using C# for GUI and API tests.

The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge in automation testing, good experience in C#, and hands-on experience in services testing tools like Fiddler, Soap UI, Postman, Protractor, and Playwright.

Responsibilities:
  • Translate test cases to automation script using C# for GUI/API tests.
  • Adhere to coding standards and guidelines defined for automation.
  • Perform manual testing of web-based applications and web services in a client-server environment.
  • Be proactive in working on both manual and automation testing.
  • Have a good understanding of web-based architecture and manage to debug any web or server error.
  • Understand functional, database, sanity, functional, end-to-end integration, and regression testing independently adhering to Scrum guidelines.
  • Review code and fix any issue identified in scheduled automation runs.
  • Perform root cause analysis of script failures/logged bugs.
  • Submit and track automation-identified defects.
  • Escalate and follow-up in a timely manner about all blocking issues and issue deviation from SOPs etc.
  • Have very good knowledge in SDLC and STLC process.
Required Skills:
  • Solid knowledge in automation testing.
  • Good experience in C#.
  • Experience in testing web services and Rest APIs.
  • Hands-on experience in services testing tools like Fiddler, Soap UI, Postman, Protractor, and Playwright.
