About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Lead to spearhead a growing team of software engineers and drive high-impact solutions in the life sciences industry.

As our engineering team expands, you will play a pivotal role in mentoring engineers, managing project delivery, and collaborating closely with product and design teams to bring innovative ideas to life.

Our technology stack includes modern tools like JavaScript, Node.js, React.js, Java, and AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB. We are also integrating AI-driven features and automation to enhance decision-making and efficiency.

A key component of our system is a private permissioned blockchain ensuring data security, integrity, and traceability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of full-stack engineers while fostering technical growth and accountability
  • Collaborate with Product and Design teams to plan and deliver new features aligned with business objectives
  • Take ownership of project execution from technical design to development, testing, deployment, and post-launch support
  • Maintain high standards for code quality, performance, and security through architectural guidance and code reviews
  • Identify and address technical blockers to ensure timely delivery of product milestones
  • Build a high-trust, collaborative team culture in line with company values
  • Work with leadership to continuously evolve engineering processes, tools, and best practices as the team scales
  • Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate high-quality software development and improve engineering efficiency
Technical Skills and Experience
  • 5–10 years of experience in software development with at least 2 years as a Tech Lead
  • Strong hands-on experience in full-stack development using JavaScript, Node.js, React.js, and Java
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure and experience deploying applications on AWS EC2, Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB
  • Deep experience with RESTful APIs, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation
  • Experience in using AI/ML tools to enhance product capabilities or improve development workflows
  • Experience working in Agile teams, Scrum, or Kanban
  • Exposure to enterprise domains such as supply chain manufacturing or life sciences is a plus
