Job Title: Product Development Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement product strategies aligned with business objectives and customer feedback.
  • Design, prototype, and launch new products based on approved specifications.
  • Collaborate with inventory teams and warehouses to optimize product quality, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturability.
  • Present product concepts to the business core team for final approval.
  • Conduct market research on trends, customer feedback, and competitor products.

Product Development Support:

  • Coordinate packaging design with designers to ensure alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with content creators to develop product names, taglines, and storytelling elements.
  • Provide price references to the supply chain team and negotiate costs based on research.
  • Share sample development details with the supply chain team to ensure timely production and alignment with design and quality standards.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure samples meet design and quality standards.
  • Communicate key details to the marketing team, including delivery timelines and unique selling points.
  • Coordinate sample deliveries to creators for content development tailored to landing pages and paid advertising channels.
  • Maintain accurate data records in report format for stakeholders.
  • Identify complementary items for upselling strategies, particularly in crystals.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Documented experience in product development, inventory, or procurement areas.
  • Proven track record of implementing new products in commercial offers, preferably in the lifestyle space.
  • Strong understanding of online retail and factors driving customer interest in shopping.
  • Familiarity with emerging market trends and keen understanding of customer preferences and shopping habits.
  • Effective communication skills for smooth collaboration across teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
