Job Title: Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence Analyst

A key role in any organization's defense against cyber threats is the cybersecurity threat intelligence analyst. This professional is responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents within an organization's IT infrastructure.

The first line of defense against cyberattacks, a SOC analyst works to identify, analyze, and mitigate security incidents that could potentially compromise sensitive data or disrupt critical business operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Schellman Methodology and guide associates and peers in its application.
  • Obtain certifications such as ISO LA, CISA, CISSP, AWS CCP, etc.
  • Successfully manage projects from fieldwork through completion, understanding Principal Service Commitments and System Requirements and how they impact scope.
  • Demonstrate ability to identify if exception(s) would potentially yield a qualified opinion and know all four report opinion outcomes.
  • Develop self-organization skills, consistently and proactively looking ahead to future projects, and prepare accordingly.
  • Review and apply concepts of AS 2.0 Reference Guide and "EWP WP Guidance".
  • Participate on projects as a shadow or assessor for attestation offerings such as HIPAA, AUP, C5, etc.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of Schellman's services, methodology, and relevant professional standards.
  • Requisite knowledge of applicable technology and security domains.
  • High level of attention to detail and quality of work product, with excellent client service-oriented skills.
  • Ability to work on-site or remotely as a valuable contributor to a collaborative team, capable of simultaneously managing assigned tasks for multiple projects.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Schellman's service delivery applications.

  • 2+ years of related professional services experience in information security auditing, assessment, consulting or compliance, focused on ITGC or SOC controls.
  • Ability to work well independently, within a team, and with clients, traveling ~40-50% (M-Th).
