What You'll Be Doing

As a Product Owner, you will lead Scrum teams, providing direction and vision to Agile development teams and stakeholders throughout the project. Ensure the team always has a sufficient backlog to work on. Plan and prioritize product feature backlogs and development. Define product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities. Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value aligned with our strategy.

Collaborate with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog based on business value or ROI. Drive planning product release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities. Actively participate in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release Sprint Goals. Research and analyze market trends, user behavior, and the roadmap for the product. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and competitors.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of US Healthcare Payer domain areas such as Claims, Member Enrollment, Medicare Medicaid, Plans Benefit Products, Provider data management and contracting, Payment Processing, EDI, Clearinghouse, etc.
  • Knowledge of integration with third-party vendors.
  • Proactive nature and knowledge management skills to maintain a repository of best practices.
  • Excellent client interaction, proactive communication, strong interpersonal, analytical skills, and good learning capabilities.
  • Ability to work with the business to identify, analyze, document functional and non-functional requirements, recommend business priorities, and advise on options, risks, and solutions.
  • Capacity to review operational and support issues, perform defect identification and triaging, help with issue prioritization, and coordinate integration testing.
  • Good analytical skills for performance effective assessment of issues along with coordination and education of operational staff for ongoing maintenance.
  • Experience in project management to drive tasks and issues from initiation to closure.
  • Ability to work across multiple teams and coordinate efforts. Respond to client data inquiries and concerns, addressing them promptly.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, tables, graphs, and observations to present clinical consult claims data or results.

Required Technical Capability: High-speed internet over 10 Mbps at home. These technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.
