Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the high quality of our products by designing, developing and executing manual and automated test cases.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with experience in testing on multiple devices and platforms. They will also possess proficiency in test management tools and defect tracking tools.

Additionally, this person should have a solid understanding of video streaming protocols and OTT platform testing requirements. Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages for test automation is also desired.

  • Test video streaming workflows, encoding, packaging, and delivery, ensuring compatibility with protocols like HLS and DASH.
  • Validate content delivery across multiple platforms and CDNs.
  • Perform functional, regression, performance, and compatibility testing for OTT applications.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira or Bugzilla, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, with at least 1-2 years in the OTT or media streaming industry.
  • Strong understanding of video streaming protocols and OTT platform testing requirements.
  • Experience testing on multiple devices and platforms.
  • Proficiency in test management tools and defect tracking tools.
  • Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages for test automation.
