System Simulation Engineer

The role involves simulating powertrain systems, modeling and optimizing components, and programming simulation tools.

  • Simulation of powertrain systems: Modeling and optimization of components and systems.
  • Programming of simulation tools to model complex systems.
  • Creating functions for engine and aftertreatment systems, and integrating them into larger models.
  • Requirement Analysis: Analyzing requirements and goals for system development.
  • Model Integration: Combining modules to create comprehensive systems.
  • Model Building: Creating detailed models, including subsystems and defining boundary conditions.
  • Development of software function units, and calibration, testing, and evaluation of parameters.

Necessary Qualifications & Trainings

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or Automotive Engineering.

Technical knowledge:

  • Physics and chemistry fundamentals.
  • Internal combustion engines, exhaust aftertreatment, and on-board diagnostics technical fields.

Key tools and technologies:

  • GT-Power simulation software.
  • Python programming language.
