Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead the modernization of our data platforms and drive business growth through innovative cloud solutions.

  • Develop and implement cloud-based data strategies, migrating applications and pipelines to scalable Azure environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy data engineering solutions that meet business needs.
  • Manage data pipelines from internal and external sources, ensuring high-quality data for informed decision-making.
  • Implement automation and monitoring frameworks to optimize pipeline performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data management, security, and compliance.
  • Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders, fostering collaboration and alignment across teams.
  • Maintain technical documentation for knowledge sharing and process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field
  • 10+ years experience in Information Technology, with a focus on cloud transformation and modernization
  • 4+ years of experience with Azure, AWS, and Cloud technologies
  • Strong knowledge of Azure services, including Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Azure DevOps
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Spark for data engineering tasks
  • Hands-on experience building and scaling data pipelines in cloud environments
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline management in Azure DevOps
  • Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance best practices
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
  • Prior experience in migrating applications from legacy platforms to the cloud
  • Knowledge of Terraform or Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for cloud resource management
