As a seasoned backend developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust backend services using FastAPI and Django. You will work on building and deploying microservices from scratch, making informed decisions on storage solutions (SQL vs. NoSQL) based on use case requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Backend Services Development: Design and develop reliable and efficient backend services using FastAPI and Django.
  2. Microservices Development: Build and deploy microservices from scratch, ensuring scalability and performance.
  3. Server Optimization: Optimize server performance, focusing on low latency and high throughput for efficient data processing.
  4. Monitoring and Debugging: Implement monitoring, logging, and debugging strategies with industry-standard tools to ensure seamless issue resolution.

Requirements:

  1. Professional Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in backend development with FastAPI and Django.
  2. Microservices Expertise: Proven track record of building and scaling microservices architecture.
  3. Programming Skills: Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and Python internals.
  4. Database Knowledge: Deep knowledge of database design, including relational and non-relational DBs.
  5. Performance Tuning: Hands-on experience in server optimization, performance tuning, and profiling.
  6. Tools Familiarity: Familiarity with monitoring and debugging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry, ELK, etc.).
  7. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Nice to Have
  1. Docker and Kubernetes: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools.
  2. Cloud Platforms: Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
