Commodity Management Professional

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the commodity globally and x-organizationally with a special focus on transformation of industries services. This includes engineering and R&D, installation and field, construction, maintenance, commissioning, cost-value engineering, supplier quality development, procurement functions, direct suppliers and sub-tier suppliers globally leading to pooling and bundling of EAD demands in close collaboration with alliance partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define commodity structure and supplier landscape, develop and implement material productivity programs to achieve maximum contribution to targets.
  • Negotiate frame contracts, execute E-auctions, identify and mitigate procurement risks, opportunities and market forces to avoid potential damage or exploit potential opportunities through tailored risk/opportunity management.
  • Build and maintain business relationships with executive management of major suppliers to furnish and obtain timely information regarding market conditions, trends and their effect on price and supply.
  • Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure coverage of needs from business and execution areas.

This role requires a high degree of strategic thinking, strong analytical skills, capability to negotiate and operate in different cultures, knowledge of setup of procurement strategies on different material fields, build up and manage multi-tier supply chains paired with knowledge of contract law and export control.

We are seeking an exceptional professional with a university degree in a technical or business-related field, 5-7 years of experience in procurement related roles, strategic procurement and commodity management or similar expertise in technology.
