Legal Manager Role

We are seeking a seasoned Legal professional to fill this key position.

Job Overview:

  • Vet and review submissions, appeals and other legal documents under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016.
  • Represent the organization in RERA proceedings before relevant authorities, briefing external counsel as needed.
  • Draft settlement deeds and other essential legal documents to safeguard company interests.
  • Manage a comprehensive legal tracker of cases handled, including CRM updates and order tracking.
  • Proficient in working with MS Excel for data analysis.
  • Perform additional legal tasks assigned by management.
  • Brief external counsel on case matters.
  • Review customer documentation and share it with drafting counsel for reply preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Vetting and reviewing submissions, appeals and other legal documents under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016.
  2. Representing the organization in RERA proceedings before HRERA & HREAT, briefing external counsel as needed.
  3. Drafting settlement deeds and other legal documents to safeguard company interests.
  4. Maintaining a legal tracker of cases handled, including CRM intimation and updating interim / final orders tracker.
  5. Proficient in working with MS Excel.
  6. Performing additional legal tasks assigned by the Company.
  7. Briefing external counsel on case matters.
  8. Reviewing customer documentation and sharing it with drafting counsel for reply and appeal preparation.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel.
