Job Title

We are seeking a Risk Management Professional to join our team. This role involves leading risk management activities within the HR function and embedding risk management in all aspects of HR work.

  • Conduct local risk assessments using tools such as FMEA and PLA.
  • Own BCM Plans for India HR Functions.
  • Identify and remediate local issues and events.
  • Implement local tasks for regulatory changes.
  • Aggregate and report local risks.
  • Identify local HR models.
  • Support local audits and exams.
  • Provide risk advisory support for local HR.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement internal governance processes, including consistent controls and monitoring programs for India HR.
  • Manage documentation and execution of local HR controls to demonstrate adherence to local employment laws and quality delivery of services in HR.
  • Lead audit activities, including establishing a framework for internal and external audits, producing artifacts meeting agreed-upon timeframes, and clear accountability and delivery across team members.
  • Lead Capital One India HR risk activities and serve as Risk point-person.
  • Help track and resolve HR India issues and events within agreed-upon timeframes.
  • Develop a reporting framework and cadence to regularly inform team and leaders on risks and issues.
  • Consult leaders and team members to ensure end-to-end services and products are well managed.
  • Influence leaders, peers, and stakeholders to develop and deliver best possible outcomes.
  • Stay current on intent and subject matter targets to support the team in risk management.
  • Perform leadership roles to help teams deliver large-scale local HR Risk deliverables and understand impact on other teams, programs, or departments.
  • Accountable for overall delivery of specified compliance activities, IRP, regular, and ongoing process and procedures reviews and updates.
  • Special projects and/or other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Masters/Bachelors Degree.
  • 8+ years of experience in Project management, leading cross-functional projects and programs in HR Risk.
  • 8+ years of experience in Risk or Audit Management.
  • PMP, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certification.
