Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Design Engineer to lead the design and validation of PCBs that meet organizational standards.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with leading PCB design tools, strong knowledge of constraints setting, routing, and post-layout checks, as well as expertise in multi-layer PCB stack-up design and materials selection.

  • Develop and validate PCB libraries in line with organizational standards.
  • Perform schematic capture and ensure design correctness.
  • Execute component placement considering electrical, DFA, and DFM constraints.
  • Develop power split plans and ensure robust design for power delivery.
  • Carry out PCB routing with controlled impedance and length-tuning as required.
  • Handle the complete post-Gerber process with fabrication and assembly readiness.
  • Define and calculate layer stack-ups for various board designs.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Work with HDI technologies, including blind/buried vias and high-speed peripherals.
  2. Apply DFX guidelines during design and carry out validation reviews.
  3. Ensure compliance with SI/PI requirements through analysis and validation.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve design robustness and reliability.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Hands-on experience with leading PCB design tools (e.g., Allegro, Altium, Mentor Graphics).
  • Strong knowledge of constraints setting, routing, and post-layout checks.
  • Experience with signal integrity and power integrity validation methodologies.
  • Proven expertise in multi-layer PCB stack-up design and materials selection.
  • Familiarity with HDI techniques, blind/buried vias, and high-speed interfaces.
  • Good understanding of DFM, DFA, and DFT considerations in PCB design.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
