Job Description:

The Assurance Senior will be responsible for providing exceptional client service, supporting the planning and preparation of workpapers, and identifying opportunities to add value for clients. This role requires a professional with a solid understanding of accounting procedures, GAAP, and financial reporting standards, as well as excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Service and Engagement Management:
  • Adhere to professional ethics and firm policies regarding client confidentiality and information handling.
  • Provide personalized, high-quality service to clients, anticipating and addressing their needs.
  • Plan and prepare audit workpapers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Analyze and update client financials, gaining a comprehensive understanding of their business operations.
  • Identify areas for improvement in client processes and suggest value-added recommendations.
  • Meet budget and realization goals, supervising junior staff members to meet their targets.
  • Stay current on developments, pronouncements, and research relevant technical issues in assurance.

Team Leadership and Mentoring:

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, interns, and new team members.
  • Participate in recruiting activities to attract talent for the firm.
  • Assist in developing training materials and delivering in-house training sessions.

Communication and Client Interaction:

  • Effectively communicate with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients during audits and assurance engagements.
  • Document client issues and communicate potential solutions to management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA license preferred.
  • Two to five years of public accounting experience in assurance services.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive salary and performance-based bonuses, as well as continuing professional development opportunities in a collaborative and supportive team culture.
