Job Description:

The Senior Office Assistant is responsible for managing accounting tasks and providing support in audits. This role requires a strong background in finance and accounting.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and check accounting entries in the company's books of accounts.
  • Reconcile bank statements, ledger statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
  • Support in statutory and internal audits.
  • Working knowledge of direct and indirect taxes.
  • Contribute to management information systems (MIS), data ranking, and budgeting exercises.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) or Master of Commerce (M.Com) with Chartered Accountant Intermediary (CA Inter) qualification and at least 5 years of relevant experience preferably from the education sector.
  • Strong IT skills and proficient in Excel, Word, and able to work in an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) environment.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office and Tally ERP Prime.
  • Team player with ability to work independently with a result-oriented approach and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
