Job Title: Media Research Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional with at least 4 years of experience to join our media research team.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as proficiency in using media monitoring tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Media Tracking and Analysis:
    • Track and monitor news coverage from traditional, print, TV, radio, and digital sources, social media platforms, online news.
    • Use data-driven insights to identify relevant articles and mentions for client brands and topics.
  • Content Summarization:
    • Evaluate and summarize media content with a focus on tonality, sentiment, accuracy, and relevance.
    • Identify emerging themes, public perception, and communication gaps from media narratives.
  • Newsletter Creation:
    • Curate and deliver daily or weekly newsletters tailored to client-specific requirements and objectives.
    • Ensure clarity, accuracy, and timeliness of curated content summaries.
  • Social Media Monitoring:
    • Monitor brand mentions, trending topics, and influencer engagement across platforms such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.
    • Evaluate sentiment and audience reaction to campaigns and key messaging.
  • Reporting and Communication:
    • Create insightful and concise reports that present media findings with clear visualizations and summaries.
    • Draft client-ready documents that reflect media coverage trends and strategic recommendations.
    Required Skills and Qualifications:
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience in media research, PR, communications, or content analysis.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret data with clarity and accuracy.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, or Google Workspace.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Degree in Media Studies, Journalism, Communications, or related fields.
    • Previous experience working in a PR agency, news organization, or media intelligence firm.
